Robert Gregory WILLIAMS

WILLIAMS, Robert Robert Gregory WILLIAMS, 57, of Atlanta passed away on June 3, 2014 after a courageous battle with ALS. Greg was born in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up in Michigan and Kansas. He graduated from the University of Kansas and received his MBA from Baker University. Greg was a faith filled man known to friends and family to be passionate about three things; his love for his family, the importance of being healthy and working out, and sharing his passion for baseball with his three sons. Greg had a successful career in sales management at ZOLL Medical Corporation for over 21 years. He loved his work and received great satisfaction in developing the professional growth in all the members of his sales team. He will be sadly missed by his co-workers and friends at ZOLL. A highlight in Greg's life was volunteering as head baseball coach for many years with Sandy Springs Youth Sports for all of his sons' baseball teams. He was a loving husband and devoted father who will be dearly missed. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Dorst Valle Williams, and is survived by his wife of 21 years, Vicki Malone Williams; sons Coleman, Michael, and Andrew; mother, Gwen Williams of Naples, FL; and siblings, Sheryl Conway of Naples, FL, David Williams of Tallahassee, FL, and Rich Williams of Citrus Heights, CA. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11AM at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 7171 Glenridge Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30328. A reception will follow in the Ministry Hall at St. Jude Church and interment for family members at All Saints Catholic Church, 2443 Mt. Vernon Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338. In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been established for Greg's three sons.
