Dear Family,
The helping community lost a fine person. I met him when he served for a time at Buckhead Christian Ministry. What a blessing he was.

To the family and friends of Dr Willingham you have my deepest sympathy in the loose of this great man. Dr Willingham was my doctor at Crippled Childrens clinic from the age of 6months till I was 21years old. No child or mother could have ever asked for a better doctor or friend.Growing up without a father Doc as I always called him was a great father figure to me. With Gods help and Docs I unlike alot of spina bifida children am able to walk and doing alright today. My only regret is that I did not keep in touch with him throughout the years. I just wanted to let the family know how much he will be missed and how much I love ya Doc.Thank you for everything you did for me and my mother. You will and have always hold a special place in my heart I will miss you always. My sympathies go to the Willingham family. I had the good fortune to work with Dr. Willingham in one of his later careers as a consultant to the Social Security disability program. I remember him for his kindness, knowledge and integrity.

What a loss we all share with Dr Willingham's loss, BUT he's in a better place. I am so grateful for the guidance he gave me , his quiet witness thru the life he lived, for his loyalty, and mostly for his friendship. Anne, I sure your loss will feel the greatest, but know that many of us loved him as you do. He loved you and his kids SO DEARLY.
MY HOPE IS TO BE HALF THE MAN HE WAS-his smile, his demeanor, his laugh, his witness, his concern for others. My prayers for comfort to you all. Zane McDaniel, proud to be Bob Willingham's friend

Dr. Willingham was a real joy to work with at the Good Samaritan Health Center. He loved the patients here and the staff could not help but look forward to his time with us. He really did love Jesus and we thank God that He shared Dr. Willingham's time and talents with us.

Dear Mrs. Willingham and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I
worked with Dr. Willingham as one of the secretaries at Orhtopaedic
Associates of Atlanta in the eighties. I would occasionally be able to give Dr. Willingham a ride home on rainy days. He was such a wonderful man.
With deepest sympathy,
Carol Tanner

I am one of the many RNs that worked with Dr. Willingham in the OR at Piedmont Hospital. He was always smiling with a twinkle in his eye. Ever the polite gentleman, it was a pleasure to work with him. The memory of his kind, productive life will be a "balm" to your immediate pain of missing him.
Grace and peace

Dear Anne and family--
I received a call earlier today from John Josey in St. Simons about the loss of Bob. It was of course a shock. We missed seeing you two this past fall at St. Simons. It was always such a wonderful time for us. There is a group from our class that just seemed to enjoy visiting so much.
We both extend to you and the family our deepest sympathy.
