Homegoing services for Mr. Rodney K. Gresham of Stone Mountain, GA will be held Thursday, September 14, 2006 12:00 noon at Greenforest Community Baptist Church 3250 Rainbow Drive, Decatur, GA, Pastor, Dr. George O' McCalep, Rev. Timothy Smith, officiating. Interment, Dawn Memorial Gardens. Remains will lie in state 11:00 AM until time of service. Visitation TODAY 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM. He is survived by 2 children, Rodney & Rhonda Gresham; mother, Katherine (Warner,Jr.) Hill; biological father, James Boston; stepfather, Julius Gresham; grandmothers, Minnie Hall & Mary Boston; 3 siblings, Eldrick Gresham, Meghan Hill, & Carlos Boston; special cousins, Carlton L. (Kathy) Davis & Pamela Elaine Davis and a host of other relatives and friends at the church. Friends are asked to assemble with family at the church at 11:30 AM. Gregory B. Levett & Sons, Inc. To Rodney, Rhonda, and the rest of the Gresham family, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Though I did not know Rodney well, I had the pleasure of taking care of him at Crawford Long Hospital earlier this year. He became special to me because it was though he were a miracle survivor. He survived his illness then. Yet, God wanted him now. Just remember these words. "Have I command thee, be strong and of good courage, be not afraid for the lord thy God is with thee."
