Family-Placed Death Notice

TYLER, Jr., Roy C. ROY C. (BUCK) TYLER, JR. Roy C. (Buck) Tyler, Jr. 86, of Atlanta died Thursday, October 17, 2013. He is survived by his loving son, Alex, daughter-in-law, Beth Kornegay-Tyler, 18 year old grandson, Ben all of the Atlanta area; brother, Gardner Tyler and sister Eleanor Reyns. Mr. Tyler moved to Atlanta in 2001 to be closer to his family after the passing of his lovely wife Margaret. Buck will long be remembered as an outgoing and personable individual who cared for many during his lifetime. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (www.alzfdn.org). Funeral and burial will be in Roanoke, Virginia. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 540-366-0707

Buck was a beloved member of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. We give thanks for his life and pray that the Holy Spirit may bring peace and strength to all who love and miss him.
