Ruby McCook Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
McCOOK, Ruby Lee Mrs. Ruby Lee McCook age 102 of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, January 3rd. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, Jan. 6th at Mt. Paran Church of God-Central with Rev. Kent Hawkins and Dr. Paul Walker officiating. Interment will be in Turner Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Lithonia. Mrs. McCook was a lifetime resident of Smyrna. She was a Homemaker and a charter member of 6th Street Church of God which later became Hemphill Avenue Church of God, that church later became Mt. Paran Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. McCook, son Carl E. McCook, Son-in-law Paul E. Argo, Sr., granddaughter, Tamara Argo Jackson, grandson Daren George McCook. Surviving are: Son Freddie & Cheryl McCook of Ellijay, Daughter, Shirley Jodi Argo of Jasper, Daughter-in-law, Ruth McCook of Ellijay, 9 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, 14 Great-Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna.

Jimmy Wilson, son of Frances Otwell Wilson Farr, Frances and Agnus were the daughters of May Otwell which was Ruby's sister wishes to send his love and prayers to the family. His brother Bobby is laid to rest there also next to Floyd and May Otwell. God Bless all,
