SIMS, Ruby A Service In Loving Memory of Mrs. Ruby K. Sims will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 11 AM at Greater Springfield Baptist Church, 721 Jones Ave. NW, Atlanta. Instate 10 AM. Rev. Ralph W. Lott, Jr., Interim Pastor, officiating. Rev. James E. Hightower, Pastor of Greater Elizabeth Baptist Church, Eulogist. Interment Westview Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:45 AM on the day of service. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Kerry G. (Yufonda) Sims; grandchildren, Kayla Venise and Keon Gerard; sister, Ms. Louise Spratling of Wilmington, DE; brother, Mr. John L. (Bessie Ruth) Spratling of Waverly Hall, GA; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends. Viewing today 9 AM - 9 PM at Murray Brothers Cascade Chapel, 1199 Utoy Springs Rd. We are both grieved and saddened by your loss. I met Kerry in college and introduced him to my family in 1979. He and his mother have made me feel like family ever since. I will treasure the sweet memories that I hold in my heart, such as remembering the good old days at Chipley High and the growing up in Chipley Georgia which is now called Pine Mountain.
