Ruth Zeidman Obituary

ZEIDMAN, Ruth M. Ruth Mendelson Zeidman, of Atlanta and formerly of Philadelphia, PA died January 3, 2016. Ruth was born in Philadelphia and came to Atlanta in 1990. She was very active at Temple Beth Tikvah, where she founded the gift shop and the Senior lunch and learn. She was a docent at the William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum and a recipient of Women of the Year by the Atlanta Jewish Federation. She was preceded in death, loving husband Joe Zeidman and son, Harris Mitchell Simons. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert (Adele) Toltzis and David (Christy) Toltzis, all of Sandy Springs, GA; sister, Frances Fagen, Tarzana, CA; grandchildren, Haley Toltzis Rattray (Rajiv), Andrew Toltzis, Mike Toltzis; great-grandchild, Marley Rattray; niece and nephews, Dr. Neil (Frani) Fagen, Tarzana, CA, Paul (Artis) Fagen, Hollywood, CA, and Sheila (Arnie) Greenfield, Chicago, IL; and many extended family around the country.
