Family-Placed Death Notice
IACONO, Sal Sal. F. Iacono (Poppy), 81, of Duluth, Georgia, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 20, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Lola, in 2006. Sal was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all. He is survived by his son, Frank, son & fiancée, Sal & Debra, daughter & son-in-law, LoAnn & David (Ike); grandchildren, Jason, Krista & Tony, Michael; great-grandchildren, Callie & Stella; Debra's children, Tyler & Lori; sisters, Barbara Furey & Charlotte Murphy; many nieces, nephews and extended family. We all love you, Dad, Poppy. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday April 27, 2013, at Brookhaven@ Sugarloaf, clubhouse. (Just go to Google maps, type in "Brookhavenrun Circle") Clubhouse is 1st building on the right as you turn into the community from Ga. Hwy 120. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sal's memory to the American Cancer Society. Please express condolences at www.southcare.us. Arrangements by SouthCare Cremation & Funeral Society in Alpharetta, (678) 735-5500.
