It's hard to wrap my mind around It's been 2 full years and it still seems like yesterday. Your very presence and the way you brought people together is now a memory one I have many of. Everybody has gone on with their lives knowing a wonderful person such as yourself is no longer among us all we have now are those memories of the good times. Continue to rest Blue Jean we continue to miss you!! Keep watching over us. Until we meet again.

Hard to believe that in a few days a whole year will have passed and somehow we made it through it hasn't been the same without you!! You left a legacy of love for your community we have been devoid of that and miss that oh so much!! Now a year later we are left with all of our memories with you to go on and see us through.
Some make you happy by coming others by going we would love to have you come back so the good times can continue to roll Things are not the same since you've been gone I think about you almost everyday remembering the Oakland City days. Rest on BlueJean know that your community misses you who can replace the Mayor of Oakland City .. NOBODY!! Leo in the house .. Again rest on friend we miss you down here tell all our family and friends what's up and that we miss them too

I would like to give my Condolences and Prayers to Blue Jean (Sandra Parker) Family. Blue Jean was a "Sweet Soul". I came to know Blue Jean by my late cousin Elizabeth McMullen (Liz). They were like sisters and friends for life. I thank God for the opportunity to know Blue Jean as a faithful friend, loving mother and giver to everyone she met. I met "Blue Jeans" when I was a young girl, growing up on Shirley Place in Dixie Hills. I remember her as being very friendly to everyone. She would sit on the porch and chat with my sister, Deborah, and me. I only remember her as nice and friendly - never messy. I met BlueJean after moving to Oakland City in March 2004, thanks to her I met and worked for Amber of Tax Time Tax Service Tax Specialist!! She was very active in the community doing whatever for whomever she was the go to person. She never met a stranger everybody that met her loved her she will be missed a tough act to follow. We Twirlers as she called us will carry her legacy forward she will never be forgotten and her kindness will live through the many loves she touched Rest Well to the Mayor of Oakland City we will miss you
