Sara Papp Obituary

Family-Placed Death Notice

PAPP, Sara SARA SUZANNE PAPP Sara Suzanne Papp passed away on November 5, 2009 at age 31 from complications of treatment of breast cancer. Sara continued to live a rich and abundant life while courageously dealing with her disease and the effects of treatment. Sara was a beautiful, talented, and artistic young woman. Her magnificent, radiant spirit was expressed in her writings, art and especially in the intensity of her love of family and her many friends. A graduate of University of Georgia, and Pope High School, she was an artist, an actress, and a Pilates instructor. She enjoyed riding horses, had run the Atlanta marathon and done a triathlon and the Peachtree Road race several times. Her impact on the lives of the people she touched in her short time on earth was profound. We will forever treasure our beloved "Sarabelle". She is survived by her parents, Joe and Susan Wolfe; her father, Dennis Papp; her sister and niece, Dana and Addison Harmer, all from the Atlanta area; a step-sister, Ashley Wolfe of Eugene, Oregon; her aunt and uncle, Nancy and Jim Theiss and 1st cousins Jessie Gray and Jimmy Dan Theiss of La Grange, Kentucky; an uncle, Joe Brock Stearns, Lexington, Ky., and an uncle and aunt, Greg and Sue Papp of Toledo, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, we are asking that remembrances of Sara be made to either, Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities, or The Atlanta Humane Society, or Georgia Equine Rescue League (http://gerlltd.org//). Arrangements by Marietta SouthCare Funeral Home 770-427-9292.

i met Sara at Body n Balance, she was the only reason I kept going back. She made me laugh and didn't put up with my BS. Her favorite movie "The Princess Bride". She loaned it to me, I still have it.

Sara had the most amazing spirit. It was fun just being around her. She always had a way of making anyone feel comfortable and welcome no matter where you were. When I think of her, I see a huge smile on her face. Our thoughts are with you and her family. - The Lawton's

As a teacher at Pope High School and mother to one of Sara's classmates, I would like to send my sincere condolences to the Papp family. Sara fought a noble battle and gave all of us yet another reason to support the Fight for the Cure. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sara and I were castmates in "The Sound of Music" at Blackwell Playhouse. She was one of the nicest and most talented people I have ever known; easily the best performer in the cast. She was a great lady. - Todd C.
