Family-Placed Death Notice
SEAN HOLLOWAY Sean Holloway, age 23, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2006. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 11, 1982, Sean graduated from Providence Christian Academy and attended college at Auburn University and Georgia State University. He was working as a detective for Macy's while finishing his Criminal Justice degree. He is survived by his mother, Elaine Miklos and her husband, Gale Miklos, Lawrenceville, GA; father, Ron Holloway and his wife, Sue Zhang, Columbia, GA; sister, Nicole O'Lenick and her husband, Kevin O'Lenick, Smyrna, GA; grandfather, George Cussel and his wife, Pat Cussel, Columbus, GA; grandmother, Barbara Holloway, Marissa, IL; stepsister, Marla Miklos, Minneapolis, MN; stepbrothers, Brian Miklos, Reston, VA, Ruoyi Chen, Columbus, GA; and many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Wages Snellville Chapel with Dr. James Merritt, officiating. Interment will follow in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 until 3 PM. Sean was a tremendous guy and a great friend. I had the priviledge of being his classmate at Killian Hill Christian School in 6th and 7th grade. I will never forget our days hanging out watching Fresh Prince and drinking Dr.Pepper and then going outside to play some basketball. While his death is extremely hard to take, we as Christians can take solace in the fact that we will once again see Sean in Heaven. Steven Curtis Chapman's song sums it all up: "We can cry with hope, we can say goodbye with hope, because we know our goodbye is not the end. And we can grieve with hope because we believe with hope, there's a place where we'll see your face again." To Sean's family: I think of you all and Sean everyday. I hope you all can feel and take comfort in the prayers of everyone who knows and loves your family. It won't be long before we are all reuniting and celebrating with Christ, Sean and the angels in Heaven.

Sean was a dear friend of my sister and I. Sean had this charisma about him, and he had this incredible smile that would warm anybody's heart. Mr. and Mrs. Holloway, you have raised a fine gentleman. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. My sister and I, will miss Sean greatly, but we know he's in heaven with the angels smiling down at all of us.

I have shed many tears for Sean. His smile and fun personality were a joy. I loved seeing him at Auburn and just loved him so much. I hear his laugh and see his smiling face. Grief is painful. The HOPE of seeing him again is so comforting. My prayers will continue to lift you up.

Sean and I were friends since the first day I started school at Providence in 97. We stayed close throughout our college years and beyond, including the better part of last year when I was out of the country. Sean made me feel less homesick by sending me a care package and a CD of his favorite songs... Sean, we will miss you, and to borrow a quote you always used, "Never forget your roots". We will never forget.
