Shannon it's been 16 years sister and the pain is still so much!! God has helped us to move on with our lives but I hate the month of June!! So many funny wonderful things have happened and I know you look down from heaven and see us, but it is indeed not the same as you being here physically with us. Our tears still burn as hot as they did 16 years ago, our hearts still ache and we still mourn. We miss you baby sister so much but I take comfort and joy knowing that you our with our Heavenly Father, Mama B and the rest of the family and friends. I love you so much sister, we all do until we see each other again, keep visiting me, I love your presence and spirit!!

Shannon my beautiful little sister, not a minute, hour nor day goes by that I don't think of you and wish you were still here with all of us your family. So much as happened over the last 15 years that would've made you laugh with your raspy laugh and smile. I love you and miss you so very much, as us, your entire family does. You would be so extremely proud of all of your children!! Jake just graduated high school, Jacoby is beautiful and doing great, Shelby wow is simply gorgeous and very successful. Again, I love you so much and miss you greatly. Love always your big sister Angel.

Hey Shannon -

The SEC New York has never been the same without you. I think of you often and miss your smile and your infection laughter. My son is 25 and I know Shelby is going to be 26 soon. I remember when we were pregnant with our first children (Vance and Shelby) and how happy your were when she was born. I pray your family is well and has stayed strong thought out the years. I love and miss you...there will never be another like you.

Shannon my beautiful sister, it's been 11 years now and the pain of your passing is still too much. I miss you so very much, the laughter we shared, the memories, that raspy voice and the love. Your nephew is almost 12 and very handsome. I still can't believe that you are not with us, daddy is getting older but still handsome and all of your sisters and brothers are doing well. We all miss you so very much but always still include you in whatever we do. I hope you are in heaven making everybody laugh!! SIP my beautiful sister and know you are so missed and loved beyond measure.... I love you, your sister Angel

Shannon, you dwell amongst ANGELS now and though you're not able to grace us with your physical presence, we know that you are with us in spirit, looking in on us and acknowledging our joys, sorrows, accomplishments...etc. You are thought of so often that your memory lives on in everyone whose lives you have touched. You are deeply missed, but never forgotten. R.I.P SHANNON

Shannon...there's not a week that goes by that I don't think about you; it's usually some crazy, funny memory that brings a smile to my face and warm thoughts to my heart. I just heard "Rappers Delight" and remembered how you cracked up because I said "terrified eye" instead of "a pair of brown eyes". I miss you sooo very much! May your family stay strong; as I keep them in my prays always.

You and your personality were truly a gift.My heart goes out to you and your family and to all those who loved and will miss you, your laughter and your smile. Luv you forever girl.

Shannon,

To say that I am deeply saddened by the lost of a “wild and crazy” yet caring and wonderful friend and co-worker, is an understatement! The ADO examination team is not, and will never be, the same without you. You always added fun and excitement to each examination and you are truly missed! I will really miss our bonding regarding Shipley’s Doughnuts, Hot Tamales and JSU (a Mississippi thang)! Though we may never understand why we lost our dear friend, the GOOD SHEPHERD knows what’s best for you! Rest well in God’s arms dear angel!

The office is different now. We don't hear your braclets rattling, or you coming in the front door, walking fast saying, "let me in sweetie, I forgot my card". Me in the mailroom and you busting out your office with some smart comment or joke, you always had something to say. You were always so happy and cheerful even when someone made you mad you had a joke or something funny to say about that also. I'm going to really miss you. It's really quiet here without you.

To the Ayers and Lawless Familes: I use to work right next to Shannon when she worked at the NERO. Seeing her everyday was one of the highlights of going to work each day. She always had a smile and we could always share a laugh. I will always treasure the memories we shared together.

Shannon was such a joy to know and work with - she could make me smile just seeing her walk up the hallway - never knowing what she might say or story she might tell! The brightness in her eyes radiated with such enthusiasm and fun. She was a master with words and never at a loss for them - so terrific at word games. We will never forget her and she will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hey Shannon: You did it girl. You moved on out to Georgia, got yourself married and four great children. Went and became an SEC examiner. How about that! Talk about having alot on your plate. You are of course very missed my dear. Your laughter, jokes and that smile of yours. My condolences to your family.

Shannon you will be missed dearly. It won't be the same not seeing you at anymore Birthday parties for Victoria or any of the other kids at Ms.Renee's Day Care. You were always a joy to be around, I never once seen you without a smile on your face, my last memory of you was at Brooke's Birthday party and you were dancing the "hokie pokie" with Victoria and Jacobi. We will miss you so much, and to your family you are all in our prayers and know that God now has another beautiful Angel to help him.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Shannon's passing. My family and I were on our way back home when we witnessed the accident. We immediately stopped and I jumped into the car with her and held her hand and talked to her until help arrived. Please know that she was not alone...there were people that cared enough to stop and try to help. May you rest in the Lord's arms now, Shannon. You are home.

What a tragedy, your bright light gone from this world, much, much, too soon. My favorite "Shannon adventure" is the exam you got us a police escort to the hotel just by asking for directions. That was Shannon, a beautiful person who brought out the best in everyone. I will miss you.

Shannon, my friend (and foe) for life...something others could never understand. You are gone too soon. So many things left to say. How do I say goodbye? I can't--don't know if I ever will. You will always be in my heart. You will always be with me. Give Heaven the same joy that you've given us here on Earth. For the Ayers & Lawless families, may you take comfort in knowing that Shannon is one of a kind. She will be sorely missed and never forgotten.

My Shannon the one and only. I will miss that big bright smile, and you coming in my office so loud and wild. I'll miss the very long talks and the good advice, though some thought you were mean and you were actually nice. You were my friend in every since of the word your smile was like sunshine and you'll sing like a bird (in heaven of course). I miss you Shannon

Shannon,

You were a shining star in the ADO office. Your smile, humor, and direct honesty will be missed. I'll think about the good times we had: Colby's first exam (think elevator and exit interview) and Pizza Inn (ribs and pizza buffet).

I am sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one is a very sad time, but you can have comfort in the resurrection hope Jesus spoke about at John 5:28, 29: 'All those in the memorial tombs will come out'. Think about what a wondourous day that will be seeing resurrected dead loved ones again!
