SHANNON D. AYERS Services for Mrs. Shannon D. Ayers, of Dallas, GA, (formerly of Queens, New York), will be held Saturday, June 10, 2006, at 1:00 PM at All Nations Ministries, 203 White Park Drive, Dallas 30132, Rev. Johnnie Sims, Pastor and Eulogist. Remains will lie instate from 12 Noon until the hour of service. Family to assemble at 53 Princeton Drive, Dallas at 12 Noon. Family will receive friends at the church TONIGHT from 7pm-9pm. Harris Ward & Webb Ellison Funeral Home, 1661 Joy Lake Road, Morrow, 404-363-1999.

Shannon it's been 16 years sister and the pain is still so much!! God has helped us to move on with our lives but I hate the month of June!! So many funny wonderful things have happened and I know you look down from heaven and see us, but it is indeed not the same as you being here physically with us. Our tears still burn as hot as they did 16 years ago, our hearts still ache and we still mourn. We miss you baby sister so much but I take comfort and joy knowing that you our with our Heavenly Father, Mama B and the rest of the family and friends. I love you so much sister, we all do until we see each other again, keep visiting me, I love your presence and spirit!!

Shannon my beautiful little sister, not a minute, hour nor day goes by that I don't think of you and wish you were still here with all of us your family. So much as happened over the last 15 years that would've made you laugh with your raspy laugh and smile. I love you and miss you so very much, as us, your entire family does. You would be so extremely proud of all of your children!! Jake just graduated high school, Jacoby is beautiful and doing great, Shelby wow is simply gorgeous and very successful. Again, I love you so much and miss you greatly. Love always your big sister Angel.

The SEC New York has never been the same without you. I think of you often and miss your smile and your infection laughter. My son is 25 and I know Shelby is going to be 26 soon. I remember when we were pregnant with our first children (Vance and Shelby) and how happy your were when she was born. I pray your family is well and has stayed strong thought out the years. I love and miss you...there will never be another like you.

Shannon my beautiful sister, it's been 11 years now and the pain of your passing is still too much. I miss you so very much, the laughter we shared, the memories, that raspy voice and the love. Your nephew is almost 12 and very handsome. I still can't believe that you are not with us, daddy is getting older but still handsome and all of your sisters and brothers are doing well. We all miss you so very much but always still include you in whatever we do. I hope you are in heaven making everybody laugh!! Shannon- I connected with so many people from high school on facebook. Everyone still remembers and miss' your crazy self. I came across some pictures of us in our booster uniforms......we look good! I want so badly to speak to Tasha and Shelby but have been unable to contact them. I miss you and love you very much. God bless you and your family.

Shannon...there's not a week that goes by that I don't think about you; it's usually some crazy, funny memory that brings a smile to my face and warm thoughts to my heart. I just heard "Rappers Delight" and remembered how you cracked up because I said "terrified eye" instead of "a pair of brown eyes". I miss you sooo very much! Shannon, words cannot possibly express the shock I felt hearing about your passing. You opened your heart to me and befriended me my first day as a new student in Lincoln High School without thinking twice about it. To say that I am deeply saddened by the lost of a “wild and crazy” yet caring and wonderful friend and co-worker, is an understatement! The ADO examination team is not, and will never be, the same without you. You always added fun and excitement to each examination and you are truly missed! I will really miss our bonding regarding Shipley’s Doughnuts, Hot Tamales and JSU (a Mississippi thang)! The office is different now. We don't hear your braclets rattling, or you coming in the front door, walking fast saying, "let me in sweetie, I forgot my card". Me in the mailroom and you busting out your office with some smart comment or joke, you always had something to say. You were always so happy and cheerful even when someone made you mad you had a joke or something funny to say about that also. I'm going to really miss you. It's really quiet here without you.

To the Ayers and Lawless Familes: I use to work right next to Shannon when she worked at the NERO. Seeing her everyday was one of the highlights of going to work each day. She always had a smile and we could always share a laugh. I will always treasure the memories we shared together.

Shannon was such a joy to know and work with - she could make me smile just seeing her walk up the hallway - never knowing what she might say or story she might tell! The brightness in her eyes radiated with such enthusiasm and fun. She was a master with words and never at a loss for them - so terrific at word games. Shannon you will be missed dearly. It won't be the same not seeing you at anymore Birthday parties for Victoria or any of the other kids at Ms.Renee's Day Care. You were always a joy to be around, I never once seen you without a smile on your face, my last memory of you was at Brooke's Birthday party and you were dancing the "hokie pokie" with Victoria and Jacobi. I was deeply saddened to learn of Shannon's passing. My family and I were on our way back home when we witnessed the accident. We immediately stopped and I jumped into the car with her and held her hand and talked to her until help arrived. Please know that she was not alone...there were people that cared enough to stop and try to help. May you rest in the Lord's arms now, Shannon. You are home.
