NARDIELLO, Shayla Shayla Michelle Beam Nardiello of Roswell Georgia passed away January 9, 2014. She was born on March 12, 1971, in Narrows, Virginia, to Alan and Donna Beam. Shayla graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree and was a member of the Golden Key Society. She spent eight years working for the E.P.A. Shayla married Steve Nardiello on June 20, 2000 in a beautiful ceremony held in Negril, Jamaica. Shayla was the devoted mother to their four children. Other than spending time with her beloved children, Shayla was an avid runner and fitness guru and loved her pets. Shayla is survived by her husband, Steve, and their four children -- Seth, Andie, Jean, Mia, and Nicholas; parents, Alan Beam; Donna Beam; sister, Shannon Sims (Jack); nieces, Lexie & Ashley; mother-in-law Jeanne Nardiello, as well as many brother and sister-in laws and nieces and nephews. Services will be held in "the Attic" at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta on Thursday January 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., 4530 N. Point Parkway, Alpharetta, Ga. Arrangements being made by Crowell Funeral Home, Norcross, Ga. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SAMN Beneficiary Trust for the children at any PNC Bank. (Account # 5331265452).

Dear Steve and family...Bad news seems to travel slowly in sports car world. The sad news about Shayla was seen by a member of the Porsche Club sent out to the membership. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss from all of us in the car world. She was a wonderful lady always a delight to be around and involved with.

I met Shayla in a kickboxing class in alpharetta a couple of years ago. I remember thinking how awesome she was from that moment. She was super funny and very easy to talk to. She will be missed greatly.

I taught Seth and DeeDee in preschool and knew Shayla as a devoted mother and vivacious person. She and her children were a bright spot in my life at Cornerstone School. I'm heartbroken to hear of her passing. Love and prayers to her family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Shayla way back in 6th grade at Mabry Middle School. She was such a sweet person and we became friends quickly that year. I remember her inviting me to watch MTV at her house and getting in trouble for talking in class. I loved that she was outgoing and she always had a smile on her face. I regret not reconnecting with her. May she rest in peace.
