Susan Daffer Obituary
Susan Gholson Daffer passed away in hospice care on October 21, 2025. She is survived by her husband, Bob Daffer; and her daughter, Allie. Bob has three children: Ben, Rachel and Stephen. Susan was a beloved nana to Rachel's three children. Susan also has four siblings: Beverly, Linda, Alex and Mary Ann, along with their spouses, children, and grandchildren.
Susan was born on February 24, 1956. She was a lifetime resident of Atlanta. She attended Sarah R. Smith ES, Dykes HS, and UGA. Susan had a successful career as a marketing manager in the restaurant industry.
Susan had a deep passion for life and the people she loved. Adventurous and always "all in," she filled every room with her energy and beautiful smile. She enjoyed many interests: gourmet cooking with her beloved daughter Allie, tennis teams, book clubs, traveling, gardening, and chasing music. She was a rabid Bulldog fan, and danced the night away enjoying at least 13 Rolling Stones concerts over the years!
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, 11 AM, in the Chapel at Peachtree Road Methodist Church. Susan was a faithful lifetime member! She will be greatly missed by everyone. RIP, sweet girl!
