Terrence DOAN

DOAN, Dr. Terrence B. Dr. Terry Doan, former Chief of Surgery at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, passed away peacefully at his home in Young Harris Ga. on April 5, 2018 after a long battle with leukemia. He was 72. Terry was born on June 13, 1945, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Harold and Jane (Littleton) Doan, and grew up in Little Silver, N.J. Terry is survived by his wife Sherry, his children Evan, Callie (A.J.) Gordon, and Jessica, his treasured granddaughter Lily Gordon, and many siblings, nieces, and nephews. Terry truly loved taking care of and being with others, whether that was spending time with family and friends, being on a medical mission in Bolivia with his daughter Callie, or teaching Sunday School . His smile and infectious laughter said it all. His niece said, ".. .Uncle Terry used all of his energy for good he was full of kindness, love, friendship and happiness." The Celebration of Life for Terry will be held April 28th at 2pm at Christ the King Anglican Church in Hiawassee, Ga.
