I send my deepest condolences to Toney and his family. Our families grew up in Carver Homes where we were very close. His mother and mines were the dearest of friends and when his brother and my sister were married in 1965, this union brought the families even closer. I have lots of memories with Toney and Bobo from playing sports and just hanging out. May we all find "PEACE". Carl E. and Carolyn Wimberly Jr

To the Mosley Family, our heartfelt condolences on the transition of Pastor Mosely, My niece Barbara Jean, who recently passed introduced me to Woods when I moved to Georgia over 20 years ago. Back then, Pastor Mosely sung and preached until the church was on fire. Thank you for being a blessing to many throughout the years for your service unto the Lord.

Pastor Mosley was a staple in our Old National Highway community. He was always welcoming and opened his doors to me as a candidate. Pastor Mosley was an exemplary Man of God who led by example and demanded that people conducted themselves in a respectful manner. I am very sad to hear he has gone home to our Lord, only because I will miss the leadership, service, and stability he bought to our area. Rest well, job well done. My deepest condolences to his family and congregation. Councilwoman Linda Pritchett, City of South Fulton, District 7.

When I found Wood's Memorial Baptist Church after moving to College Park. my first emotion was comfort. The church seemed small but mighty in spirit. Who knew that I would be gifted with a singing Pastor who knew how to stir the souls of his congregation before even beginning his sermons. Finding a church "Home" is not as easy as it sounds. I found a "Home" in this church. I also remember when I made an appointment to speak with my pastor, something I had never done in my entire Life at the time. Not only did Pastor Mosley offer me great advice, during that hour or so of our conversation, he related to me with my concerns. He opened up about his thoughts and concerns. I realized after that meeting that we as members often go to our Pastor's with concerns and our struggles with not much thought of what they may be experiencing in their lives at that moment. If I learned nothing else in that hour or so meeting, I learned that our Pastors are human first. They have concerns and struggles too. We must pray for their well-being also, and inspire them, so that they can continue to offer us what we need to move through our daily lives. Thank you, Pastor Mosley for that moment in time. You will be missed terribly.

Pastor Toney Mosley and I attended Carver Bible College in Atlanta. He was a fine scholar and a man who truly loved God and his people. His faithfulness to his life as a preacher of righteousness is an encouragement to me and I will see him again in heaven with Jesus our Lord.
May God comfort the hearts of the family, his church, and all whom his life has touched.

Where do I start? From 1994 you gave pre marital counseling you baptized and dedicated all four of my children who absolutely adored you. Remember the lil choir director and preacher. You were such a role model for him even to this day. I could go on and on. We love you but God loves you more. Forever in our hearts with that powerful voice you had! Take your test. Prayers strength and comfort goes out to your family. I love you Sis Mosley thanks for all the gifts you gave to the kids and for saving Mason a seat next to you every Sunday to direct the choir.
