Ms. Velvia Marie Caldwell, of SW Atlanta, passed away on August 13, 2025. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, 1:00 PM at Murray Brothers Chapel. Family and friends are asked to assemble in the Chapel at 12:30 PM on the day of service. Velvia is survived by sisters, Maria Ferrell, Virginia Albert and Sylvia Biu; nieces, LaShon Thompson, Ofronama Biu, Fanette Franks; nephews, Anthony Thompson and Oweinama Biu; great-nephew, Jason W. Pitts; great-nieces, Amira and Alaya Franks; cousins, Yvonne Ezekiel, Maurice (Robin) Gibbs, Kirk (Emily) Gibbs, Terryl (Regina) Barnes, Morristine (Edward) Jackson, Cheryl (Stanley) Warren.
