Family-Placed Death Notice
BRINSON, Walter WALTER L. BRINSON Homegoing Services for Superintendent Walter L. Brinson, of Atlanta will be held Friday, March 28, 2008, 11:00 A.M. at New Life Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C, 715 Cleveland Avenue, Atlanta, with remains placed in state at 9:30 A. M., Superintendent J. E. Hogan, Pastor, Bishop Mark Walden, Officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held this evening at the mortuary from 7:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. He is survived by three sons, Mose (Ruth) Brinson, Tommie (Carolyn) Brinson, and Bernard (Teresa) Brinson; daughter-in-law, Kathy Brinson; ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and church families. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 2371 Tarian Drive, Decatur at 10:00 A. M.: Donald Trimble Mortuary, Inc., 1876 Second Avenue, (404) 371-0772-3.

We are very sorry to hear of your loss; we remember Mr. Brinson so well from the Poole Creek days on Gilbert Way. We were your neighbors back then(THE CHATMAN FAMILY). We still dealing with the loss of our mother in 2006, but we do feel blessed to have had her as long as we did and we know you feel the same about your father.

TO THE BRINSON FAMILIES*****
I am so deeply sorry for the loss of a great man:Eld. Walter Brinson.
His love for me and my family goes all the way back to our early childhood years,long before our father passed in 1963. He always has been another father to us,because he promised our Dad that he would look out for us and keep us in church; and he did that.
I loved him like my own Father and
grew up in his Church when we were in Plunkett Town ( Poole Creek).
Then we went to McGruder ST.COGIC where our children grew up. I will never forget him making me sing Rough Side Of The Mountain on
program one day. He really loved that song. We will never forget him,nor the things he done for our dad before his death.
So We say to the family,Be Strong. Keep his legacy alive in you. And just know that he's now resting
