Have been out of town and just heard today of Dr. Dillingers death. So sadden to hear this. He was mine and my sons dentist since 1987. I was working the evening shift on a Friday night , broke a tooth . Dr Artess called Dr. Dillinger at home. He questioned if I was hurting, I told him no , just scared I might. He gave me his phone number , told Dr. Artress give me Rx. for pain. If I needed him before Monday , he would meet me at his office. Over the years we had many conversations, later about Cobb Hospital, our beach homes. My son and I both loved Dr. Dillinger , my son had a special relationship with Barbara . What a special couple they were. I know he made all his patients feel special , I for one thought he was the special one. I will think of him often. Condolences to the family.

I am sorry to hear of Dr. D's passing. We had a lot of good times over many years. Mark & Billy, you are in our thoughts and prayers. I think of your Mom often when I make pound cakes and Dr. D when I have popcorn. My sincere condolences for your loss.

My heart is so sad. I loved Herald like a second father and will miss him. I'm so thankful that I got to share time with him in my life. Tom will miss his stories while sitting in the dentist chair. His sense of humor and his laugh.
Goodbye Herald.
