William Aubrey "Bill" Trinkle

William "Bill" Aubrey Trinkle, 73, of Marietta, passed away January 28, 2018. He was born in Roanoke, Virginia, on November 11, 1944, to late parents Martha Dold and Elbert Norred Trinkle. Bill received his Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech in business management. He had a career in finance and management for Acusta Sales and Marketing, Capital South Group, and Kroger Co. Bill had a passion for Golf and loved to watch all sports. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jane Trinkle; sons, Lawrence Scott Elliott, Jr (Mindi), Marietta, Georgia, Matthew Morse Trinkle (fiance Lauren Bennett), Atlanta, Georgia, William Andrew Trinkle (Meredith), Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Lawrence Scott Elliott, III, Morgan Elizabeth Elliott, and Leland Lane Elliott, Marietta, Georgia; brothers, Elbert Norred Trinkle Jr, Annapolis, Maryland; brothers-in-law, P.C. Spruce, Birmingham, Alabama, Kip Morse (Myra), Big Canoe, Georgia, Bill Morse (Linda), Lawrenceville, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his sister Anne Trinkle Spruce, Birmingham, Alabama. Visitation will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill Chapel on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 11:30 to 12:30 PM. Funeral services will begin at 1:00PM with interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
