Willie Stringer Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Mr. Willie Edd Stringer of Cumming, GA, formerly of Morrow, passed away September 17, 2006. He was 84 years old, retired from Atlanta Army Depot and lived in Clayton County since 1956. Survived by wife, Louise Stringer; son, Eddie and Cindy Stringer of Cumming; brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Stringer, Lilburn, Dan Stringer, Homestead, FL; grandchildren, Frank Sanders, Misty Bowman, Randy and Melanie Johnson, Casey Stringer; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Margaret. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 o'clock from the chapel. Interment, Jonesboro Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, Morrow. 770-961-2828

I am so sorry that I couldn't be reached when this happened...I was so sad to hear it....I tried to call Eddie's home, left a message, please call me so we can get together, I miss you all and will miss Uncle Willie Ed too.

I'm sorry that I couldn't come home for the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will always remember Uncle Willie Edd as a smiling, gentle soul.

"...and what is death, but a pause in life's singing ~~ to take breath for endless song..." Willie Edd's with Margaret now, and no way would either want to come back!! One day we'll see them again in glory land. He was a sweet man and much loved by all.
