Don Jensen Obituary
He graduated from Elk Horn High School in 1969 and went on to build a long career as a bearing producer for Mahle in Atlantic. Don was a man of many talents and passions, including fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking for anyone in need, and card playing. His generosity extended beyond his family and friends, as he proudly donated over 20 gallons of blood during his lifetime.
Don married the love of his life, Terri, in Elk Horn, in 1985, and together they raised three wonderful children. He is survived by his wife, Terri Jensen; his children, Ronnie Andersen, Toby Jensen, and Crystal Taylor-Donahue (with Brian Taylor-Donahue); his siblings, Darrell and Diane Jensen, Lee Jensen, and Joanie Jensen; as well as many nieces, nephews, and two cherished grandchildren.
Don's warmth, kindness, and love will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of compassion and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5 to 7 p.m on Friday, Oct. 4 at the home of Jeff Jessen, 1485 280th street Exira, Iowa 50076.
Private family burial will be held at a later date at the Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Kimballton.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family and can be sent in care of Schmidt Family Funeral Home to P.O box 201 Audubon, Iowa 50025.
