Frank Claussen Obituary

Frank James Claussen, the son of William and Thelma Clara (Petersen) Claussen, was born Dec. 16, 1947, at his parents' home in Anita and died Jan. 12, 2016 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Des Moines, at the age of 68 years and 26 days.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife Martha "Skeeter" Claussen; his parents: Bill and Thelma Claussen; and his niece Melissa Dawn Claussen.
Survivors include his brothers and sister: Sherman and wife Thelma Claussen of Irwin, Herm and wife Deb Claussen of Lawson, Mo., Olinda and Jim Krause of Massena and Bill and Kathy Claussen of Atlantic, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted by Pastor Mitch Holmes on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. at the Anita American Legion Hall in Anita. Inurnment will be in the Veterans Administration Cemetery in Van Meter at a later date. The honorary casket bearers will be Travis Claussen, Trent Claussen, Chris Claussen, Clint Claussen, Cody Claussen, Chuck Krause, Bud Claussen, Luke Claussen, Ed Claussen and Roger Claussen.
