Merle Hansen Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 8 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Exira. Burial will follow at the Oakfield Cemetery near Brayton. Visitation with the family present will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home on Monday. A luncheon will be held following the committal service at the Bryton Town Hall in Brayton.
Memorials can be made in his name to the Oakfield Cemetery and maybe left or mailed to the funeral home at PO Box 523 - Atlantic, Iowa 50022.
The Schmidt Family Funeral Home is caring for the Hansen family.

Merle led a very long and interesting life. Living to 98 years and being very active until the end, surrounded by friends and family, is something I would wish for all of us. Sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. Merle was an inspiration. With sincere best wishes, Cousin Connie
