Anthony Dinatale Obituary

Anthony Nicholas "Tony" Dinatale Sr. lived his life to the fullest. Born on June 4th, 1965, Tony never held back or quit, embracing every challenge with determination and passion. He found joy in the outdoors, whether hiking, logging, riding motorcycles, or spending time with friends and family, often enjoying a beer while watching the sunset and barbecuing. Tony also loved working out at the gym, where he found camaraderie with his gym buddies. His zest for life was matched by his unrelenting work ethic, fierce independence, and unwavering drive to succeed.
Tony was self-taught and tireless, often found working long hours on his latest project or job. His thirst for building a life for himself and those around him was insatiable, and he never stopped until the day he passed. On September 10th, 2024, Tony passed away suddenly in Roseville, CA, in the presence of a loved one.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Nicholas Dinatale Jr.; his mother, Lucy Dinatale; and his siblings, Mike Dinatale, Mary Dinatale, Dom Dinatale, Deb Knorr, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Antone Dinatale, and his brother, Joey Dinatale.
From a young age, Tony demonstrated his skill and determination. By age 13, he was already operating heavy equipment, working for a pool company alongside his father, where he learned excavating and developed a talent for working with tools and machinery. After graduating from Granada High School in Livermore, CA Tony dedicated four years to serving with CAL Fire, fighting wildfires with bravery and commitment. He later joined the California Conservation Corps, working on environmental projects and disaster relief efforts, where he rose to the rank of crew captain.
Following his time with the Corps, Tony worked for a tree service company before establishing his own business, Anthony's Tree Service. As his career evolved, so did his business, which became Sierra West Land Development. Tony poured his energy into developing properties, transforming landscapes with his unique and personal touch. He was known for working long hours, determined to make each project a reflection of his vision.
Tony's life was a testament to resilience, determination, and generosity. He generously shared his success, brightening the lives of his family and friends. His constant energy, business acumen, and charming personality left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
In honor of Tony, let us remember to live fully and embrace every opportunity with the same unwavering spirit that defined his extraordinary journey.
In lieu of flowers and cards, the family kindly requests that you consider planting a tree in Tony's name. You can purchase a memorial tree planting at www.shop.arborday.org and follow the prompts. Please have the recipient card emailed to Anthony Dinatale Jr. [email protected].

Tony you will be missed my friend.
I had the pleasure of working for Anthony on many occasions...his vision, work ethic, and ability to were quite amazing! His respect and admiration of the natural world was something all should adhere to. I will miss hollering at the big guy through the tree tops.
My sincere condolences to the family.
