Born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico (donde la vida no vale nada), on February 18, 1933, passed away in the company of her family on May 29, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abel Sandoval Sr.; daughter Laura Sandoval; son Abel Sandoval Jr.
Loving mother of Araceli, Emily, Lydia, Armando and Javier. Beloved grandmother of Francisco, 15 other grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Survived by sisters, Maria Flores and Piedad Juarez; and a great number of loving extended family members, son and daughters-in-law, nieces and nephews and a large number of close family friends.
Aurora was the previous business owner of Abel's Market in Sacramento, Calif. and the Roseville Restaurant in Roseville, Calif. and subsequent 28 year resident of Newcastle, Calif. She will always be missed for her loving affection, devotion, self-sacrifice, generosity, hospitality and never ending support to her children. She will be remembered for her graceful singing, her joy of raising livestock, her "tejidos", her homemade flour tortillas, tamales, salsas, and many other comidas.
Our mother had a strong will to survive and endured many years of medical challenges. Thank you to the many health care professionals who helped with her care, which allowed her family to enjoy her to the fullest.

A Rosary and viewing will be held on June 5, 2006 at 7 p.m., at the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, 585 D Street, Lincoln, CA. A Mass will be held on June 6, 2006, at 10 a.m., followed by the burial at the Lincoln Cemetery.
