Catherine Joyce Pepper, 59 of Roseburg, Oregon passed away on December 5, 2012 in Chilcoot, Calif.
The Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on January 13, 2013 at the VFW Post 4647 at 3300 U St. Antelope, Calif. Pastor John Buffey will be officiating.
Cathy was born to Eunice May Lampi and Harvey Roland Martin in Detroit, Mich., on January 10, 1953.
Cathy was a successful business owner and in her recent years work with a hospice organization which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Cathy was married to Charles Edward Pepper on May 17, 1992 and they enjoyed, raised and adopted Ashley and Eunice and the four Peppers were added the larger family of Cathy and Ed. Cathy enjoyed working with people, giving back to the community, baking and cooking.
Cathy is survived by her five children: Cassandra Leffew, Cara Jean Leffew, Phillip Bryan, Billie Wilberton, Ashley Pepper, Eunice Pepper; her 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers; nieces and nephews and the rest of her relatives.
Cathy was preceded in death by, her husband, Ed Pepper; her father, Harvey Martin; her son, Michael Bryan; as well as her sisters, Cynthia Knowlton and Diane Knox.
The family would like to thank the VFW for their support. There will be a potluck fellowship following the service. Donations will be accepted for the VFW the day of the service.
