Connie Watkins Martinez, 62, passed away Monday following a long illness. She was born in Oroville and has been a Benicia resident for more than 30 years.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed music and her family.
Connie is survived by her children: Marcy Duran, Michelle Martinez, Antonio Martinez; her mother, Billie Jean Bullard; brothers: Gene, Tony, Bobby and Alan Watkins; sisters, Deborah and Terri Watkins; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews and many friends. Everyone loved her very much and she will be missed by all.
There will be a potluck reception following the service. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, 901 West Second Street, Benicia. Please visit the online at www.passalacquafuneralchapel.

Aunt Connie,
I have so many memories of you. I remember all the times you and my mom spent together while Michelle and I would play. All the country cruises lol and summers swimming at Dodies... So many wonderful memories that I will cherish forever. Every time I hear a Sam Cooke Song or "Sitting by the Dock of the Bay", I will think of you. Thank you for the memories. Rest in Peace Aunt Connie, until we meet again....Love you!
