David passed away on March 17, 2010. He was a long time resident of Foresthill, California.
David graduated from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Califonia.
He was a carpenter, business- man, logger, sportsman and previous builder/owner of Turpin's Carwashes.
David is survived by his wife, Emma Turpin, sons, Russell Turpin, Jeff Turpin, Ron Turpin, Jeff Putman, John Putman, 9 grandchildren, and brothers, Keith Turpin, Merrill Turpin, and Robert (Jimmy) Turpin.
Services will be held on March 27th, 1p.m. at the Foresthill Memorial Hall.

to emma and the turpin family...I'm saddened by the news of Daves passing. He was a friend and I will miss him. I allways admired his accomplishments and especially his humor and love of life. Rest in peace Dave... We'll miss you!

Dave is and always will be one of my favorite people in life. He always left me smiling. Treated me like family, made me laugh, and even blush a lot.
The most accomplished man I have ever met. I'm a better person for knowing him.
Thanks for being my friend Dave. I love you and will truely miss you.
