Donna Ford Obituary
5/18/1934 - 8/22/2014
Donna was born May 18, 1934 died August 22nd 2014 at the age of 80. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Placer County. She leaves behind her husband Jim Ford of 59 years and her brother Dale Morgan, two children, Lindsay Busk and Daren Ford along with four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Donna attended Placer High School where she met her husband and later married in 1955. She also attended Sierra College and then went on to San Jose State University and graduated with a nursing degree. Donna worked as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years at Placer County Hospitals including: Dewitt State Hospital, the old Placer County Hospital and Auburn Faith Hospital. Donna really enjoyed her nursing career and traveling to locations along the Pacific Coast and the Northwest. She also spent several months a year in Mexico during her retirement years.
At the request of Donna, no services will be held.

So surprised to read of Donna's death. We had talked on the phone a few weeks before and she mentioned how much she and her husband were enjoying their little dog. In 2000, Lindsay asked me to call Donna as we both had recently had mastectomies. We met for lunch and kept in touch through the years. Donna loved her family so much and I know you all will be comforted by your many, happy memories. God Bless you all.

My condolence to the Jim Ford family for the loss of Donna. She was an active member of our class of 1952 at Placer High; always cheerful and a big smile; and was friendly with everyone. May she have a peaceful journey.
