Evan Boungnasiri Obituary

Evan Gabriel Boungnasiri
1/11/2012

Evan Gabriel Boungnasiri, age 2, earned his angel wings on January 11, 2012, after a fall at Breen Park in Rocklin and a week of fighting to live at UCDavis Medical Center. His final moments where spent in the arms of those who loved him most, as he made his way up to heaven.
Evan was taken from his family much sooner than ever expected, but the lives that were touched by this little boy far exceeded more than many who live an entire lifetime. Evan lived the meaning of his name, young warrior - god's angel, well. He overcame open heart surgery at the age of one, and continued to spread his love for people and animals until the day he earned his angel wings.
Evan has taught so many what it means to love unconditionally, what it means to open your heart to someone you may not know, and how to live life joyfully and to the fullest, EVERY day.
Evan is survived by his parents, Mandy and Obee Boungnasiri of Rocklin; his brother, nine year old Hayden; and sisters, seven year old Ellie, and four year old Jordyn, also of Rocklin; his grandparents, Ed and Kathy Roser of Loomis; Khamheuang and Phaul Boungnasiri of Vientiane Laos; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Celebration of Evan's life will be held at Bayside Church of Granite Bay on Saturday January 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. 8191 Sierra College Blvd Roseville, Calif. The celebration is open to all who have been touched by his life.
A Benefit Concert and Silent Auction will also be held for the Boungnasiri Family the evening of January 21, 2012 from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m., at the Flower Farm in Loomis., and everyone is welcome to attend. In lieu of sending flowers, please consider either making a donation to Mended Little Hearts of Sacramento in Evan's name, or attending the benefit concert the evening of January 21, 2012.

Evan, I did not have the privilege of knowing you. But you seemed like such a sweet, funny little boy. I wish the circumstances were different in the way you were able to touch so many lives. Mandy and Obee, my prayers are with you. May God guide, comfort and give you all strength. I'm blessed to have been able to be a part of your son's legacy, even if only through facebook. God chose a special little boy to send a very strong message. Blessings to you, Boungnasiri family
