Faye Schreiber Obituary

A much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Faye Schreiber (Mima), 76, of Grass Valley Calif., passed away peacefully at her home August 5, 2012 with her family by her side. She had bravely confronted and fought cancer.
Faye was born August 7, 1935 in Allentown Pa., and resided in Vacaville and Grass Valley Calif. She graduated from Allentown High School in 1953 and married her forever love, Paul Schreiber on December 17, 1955. She worked as a bookkeeper at Pacific Hardware, a supervisor with the State of California and worked for Placer County libraries.
Mima was a wonderful Mom and Grandma not just to her immediate family but she also adopted anyone who needed mothering. Faye is now holding the children of heaven in her arms and caring for them until they are reunited with their families.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012, at Sierra Presbyterian Church, 175 Ridge Rd, Nevada City. All who were touched by Faye are welcome and we encourage wearing bright colors in celebration of her bright and happy smile.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sierra Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 268, Nevada City CA 95959, for any of the following projects: Children's Ministries, "Big Fix" Church Repair Fund, or Sanctuary Piano Replacement.
