Gary Jeffers Obituary
4/27/1953 - 8/9/2012
Gary Austin Jeffers, 59, of Gridley, California passed away on August 9, 2012. He was born in Gridley to Winchel and Elenore Jeffers on April 27, 1953. He was a part of the Auburn and Colfax communities for many years.
Gary lived his life for his wife, children, and grandchildren. Gary was known for his love of life and sense of humor. He found a friend in everyone he met. He loved the San Francisco Giants and 49ers, fishing, horse shoes, and spending time at Lake Madrone and Fort Bragg.
Gary is survived by his wife Linda (Presley); daughters: Stacy Jeffers, Lisa Jeffers and Kimberly and husband Chris Obranovich; step-sons: Eric Baggett and Brett Griffith; and grandchildren: Austin, Molly, and Madison. Gary is also survived by a large, loving extended family.
Services will be held Friday August 17, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Gridley (9:30 a.m. Rosary). A reception will be held at the Gridley Moose Lodge following the services.
Contributions may be made to Enloe Foundation Cancer Center Compassionate Fund. Donations can be mailed to 249 W. Sixth Ave. Chico, CA 95926.

Hey Gar-bear- We have been friends since 1971 and in time more than friends we became family. You will always have a special place in my heart! Thank you for being part of my life and teaching me and the rest of the Sierra crowd how to have a good time!!! Good Night, Irene and that's ALL she wrote...... will be in vocabulary for the rest of my life. You were a loving, devoted father, husband and a wonderful friend to all who crossed your path. You could make every one laugh untiol they cried and you had a very unigue way to get out of speeding tickets! Mu children love you and we will miss you- Tina
