Janet Moore passed away unexpectedly at age 59 surrounded by her loving friends and family at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital on August 25, 2015, due to complications from ongoing health issues.
She was born on July 16, 1956 in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Janet grew up in Fremont, California, where at age six, she met Valerie Joyner, her life time friend, and became a part of the Joyner family. In 2000 Janet relocated to Auburn, California. She worked and retired from Farmers Insurance. She was a dedicated volunteer at Auburn Interfaith food closet, and her church home Upper Room Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Robina Moore, father, William Moore, and uncle Jimmy Moore. Janet also leaves behind her cousin Ray Bruce Moore, his wife Julie Moore and family, cousin Charles Cowburn from England and many friends.
A viewing will take place at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, Calif. on September 4, 2015 at 9:00 a.m., with burial to follow at New Auburn Cemetery, 1040 Collins Dr. Auburn, Calif. at 10:00 a.m.
A Memorial Service will be held immediately following the burial at Upper Community Church, 11641 Blocker Drive Suite 280, Auburn, Calif. Lunch to follow.
Janet will be truly missed.
