John Stonesifer Obituary

John W. Stonesifer
12/17/1945 - 11/25/2007

Mr. Stonesifer was born Dec. 17, 1945, in Sacramento and graduated from Roseville High School in 1963. A fifth-generation Roseville Southern Pacific Railroad employee, he worked for the railroad for more than 40 years. He also was an avid game hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany; and granddaughter, Jennifer of Bend, Ore.; his parents, Marian and Allen Stonesifer of Lincoln; two brothers, David of Los Gatos and James, (Linda) of Utah; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the Sacramento area.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November. 28, 2007 at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 6365 Douglas Blvd., in Granite Bay, for longtime Roseville resident John W. Stonesifer, who died Sunday as a result of a traffic accident. The Rev. John Ridenour will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Placer County SPCA, 150 Corporation Yard Road, Roseville, Calif., 95678.
