Marie Westeren passed away at her home in Foresthill, Calif., on April 22, 2013. She was 79. She was born in Struthers, Ohio.
Marie was preceeded in death by her parents, Frank and Elaine Mediati; son, Ken; brothers, Joe and Pete Mediati; and great-granddaughter, Mikayla. She is survived by her beloved husband, Stanley Westeren; loving children, Donna Carroll (Mickey) and daughter-in-law, Paula; grandchildren, Heather Cobabe, Elizabeth Buck, Rebekah Huey, Michael, Amie and Samantha Westeren; great-grandchildren, Mariah, Jenne, Joslynn and Aleah Ransom, Sarah and Katelin Carroll, Hannah John and Kylie Buck Taylor Carroll, Ryder and Hunter Huey; sister, Rina Palemria and brothers, Sam Esposito and Frank Mediati. Marie was a much loved member of her church family at Canyon View Assembly. Finally, a loving Mimi and forever friend to all who knew her. She loved us well!
A Celebration of Life memorial service will take place at Canyon View Assembly, 23221 Foresthill Rd., Foresthill, Calif., on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2 p.m.
Arrangements under the direction of Chapel of the Hills.
