AUBURN - Abraham Taylor, 82, of Auburn, died Friday, June 3, 2005, at Mercy Health & Rehabilitation Center.
He was the deputy superintendent at Auburn Correctional Facility for 40 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Congregation B'Nai Israel, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Civil Service Retired Employees Association. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Air Force in the Pacific Theater.
He is survived by a brother, Irving; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, June 5, at Fort Hill Cemetery, Auburn.
