AUBURN - Daniel "Danny" W. Errico IV, 30, of Mattie Street, Auburn, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 22, 2017 at his home. He was born in Syracuse on Aug. 27, 1986, the son of Daniel Errico and Susan Marquart Errico.
Danny was taken from his family that adored him way too early. He fought a battle with addiction for the last few years, but this was not the person that he was. Danny had a kind and generous soul and was always there for everyone. He had a fun loving spirit, was happy-go-lucky, and lived life to the fullest. He led a happy life and how many of us can say that?
He leaves behind his mother and father; brother, Anthony; sister, Nicole; nephew, Tommy; niece, Amelia; aunt, Cici; paternal grandparents, Dan and Nancy Errico, and extended family.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Patricia and William Marquart, and his beloved dog, Remy (bonehead) who meant the world to him.
He leaves behind many friends he loved dearly with whom he was affectionately known as "dirty" – a name given to him when he was 10 years old. He tragically lost many friends at a young age, Matt Prego, Jessica and Chris to name a few.
Danny will be remembered for his great laugh, big smile, kindness and happiness that he brought to everyone he came into contact with. Life on this earth is sometimes a battle, but don't ever give up on someone.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 30 at White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South St., Auburn. A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Auburn (gate 5, off Sand Beach Road).
Donations may be made in memory of Daniel "Danny" Errico IV to Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY, 41 York St., Auburn, NY 13021.
