Elizabeth Hawley Obituary

Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Hawley passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, at Gulf Coast Medical Center, Fort Meyers, Florida with her family at her side. Liz was born in Syracuse, NY on December 13, 1976 to Susan (Carl) Cuipylo and the late Wm. Gere Hawley, III. Liz was a graduate of Union Springs High School, Auburn Community College and SUNY Oswego. She immensely enjoyed her work as an office manager but found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and caring for others. Liz loved to crochet, gifting dozens of afghans to family, friends and charitable causes. She was also a notable cook and excelled at entertaining. Her gentle nature and dazzling smile will be missed by all who knew her. As her last act of caring, Liz donated her organs so that others might have a second chance to enjoy life.

In addition to Susan and Carl Cuipylo. Liz is survived by her sister, Jessica Pasquarella, brother William (Danielle) Hawley IV, niece Lucia Pasquarella, nephews Liam and Carter Hawley, step-brother Zach Cuipylo and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Liz was predeceased by her father, Wm. Gere Hawley III, half-brother Jeffrey Landers, and step-brother Russell Cuipylo.

Interment will be at Lake View Cemetery Cayuga, NY at a later date.
