LIVERPOOL - Gary J. Sanderson, 43, of Liverpool died unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, at University Hospital, Syracuse.
Gary was born in Auburn on Dec. 29, 1961. He is the son of Louise Orio Sanderson of Auburn and the late William Sanderson. He was a graduate of Auburn High School and graduated with high honors from City College in Orlando, Fla.
Gary served his country with the US Army. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed riding whenever he had the opportunity.
In addition to his mother, Louise Sanderson, he is survived by two sisters, Sharon Louise Rooker and her husband, Charles and their children, Brian Sanderson, Joshua and Jennifer Rooker and Michael DeNardo; his sister, Sandra Maciag and her husband, William and their children Allis, Mallory and Matthew; two brothers, William Sanderson and his wife, Cindy and their children, Jolene, William Jr., Nathan and Kalene; his brother, Thomas Edward Sanderson and his wife, Katherine, all of Auburn; several nieces and nephews; one great-niece and four great-nephews.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Monday in the White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St., Auburn, with the Rev. Leroy Kettinger, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Soule Cemetery, Sennett. Calling hours will be 12 to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Donations in memory of Mr. Sanderson may be made to his family, in care of Sharon Rooker, 89 N. Fulton St., Auburn.
