Gary graduated from Auburn High School in 1984 and resided in the area for his whole life. He was a professional glazer at McLaughlins Glass serving the Auburn Community for over twenty years.
Gary was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and camping. If he wasn't in a tree stand or at a fishing derby, he was at a music festival camping with friends. Gary loved all things music and outdoors but above all he loved his family and friends.
Gary and his loving wife Wanda especially enjoyed attending the Grass Roots Festival in Trumansburg every year where they celebrated with many great friends and family.
One thing is for sure, when Gary showed up, everyone knew they were going to have a good time!

Gary worked with me over 30 years ago, we had many good times each day , I have not seen him in at least 20 years or better . Our lunch hours would be one hour long and we used every minute of it . We would walk back in the shop and the grins we wore on our faces would give it away about what we did for that hour , the laughs would continue , I hope he had a good life the rest of the years I did not see him , I hope he rest in peace , God Bless Gary !!

Oh Gary, I so wish you didn't have to go through this and leave so early. So many amazing, crazy memories that are with us forever. Your laugh was infectious. I keep remembering Tues night Simpsons on Wright Ave. My condolences to Wanda and the kids and Brian, the whole family. I feel a big empty hole. I was so lucky as well to see Gary and meet his wife at Grassroots a few years ago. It had been a good minute. Love you Gary . No more pain!

Brian & Chris,
I´m so sorry, my friends. Last time I saw Gary, he and Wanda were on the infield of the Grassroots Music Festival and they both had huge smiles on their faces. It´s a beautiful memory.
I wish calling hours were allowed and I´m sure you do as well. You´re certainly in my thoughts.
Love,
Bert
