Gregory Alan VanEpps
Feb. 26, 1965 - May 29, 2024
Gregory Alan VanEpps, 59, succumbed to his health conditions in his home on May 29, 2024. Greg was born on February 26, 1965 in Rochester, NY to Bernard W. and Joyce A. VanEpps.
He graduated from Auburn High School in the Class of '83. He would then go on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the CVN-69 Dwight D. Eisenhower from 1984 to 1988 as an Aircraft Mechanic and would go on to graduate from the Riverside School of Aeronautics.
Anyone who knew him would know that he was masterful at crafting, mechanics, and machinery. This was exemplified at the places where he would dedicate his skills, such as Skaneateles Airport, TRW, and Welch Allyn, where he would go on to win the "Beacon of Quality" 2008 President's Award.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce VanEpps; his son, Connor VanEpps (Abbey); his daughter, Mackenzie VanEpps (Brad); his brother, Mark VanEpps (Sue); his nephew, Ryan Malinowski (Erin and sons); his niece, Taylor VanEpps (Ronnie); and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Ashley VanEpps, his father, Bernard VanEpps, and his half brother, Stephen VanEpps.
Gravesite services will be held at Soule Cemetery at 1:30 PM on June, 6, 2024. Immediately following will be a Celebration of Life held at Auburn Correctional Training Center on Franklin Street Road at 3:00 PM.

Greg and I attended Riverside School of Aeronautics together. The first 3 months we roomed together until I moved out of the house. We traveled together to and from school everyday except the one day he was late because of a snow storm. I remember going with him to some of his brothers band performances on weekends. Unfortunately, after school we went our separate ways and lost contact. Even though we lost contact, I'm deeply saddened by his passing.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all that loved Greg. Words are so inadequate at a time like this. People pass on but their memories live on in our hearts.
