AUBURN - Jean A. Hamilton, 83, of Wegman Street, Auburn, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, at her home.
Mrs. Hamilton was born in Auburn, the daughter of Fletcher and Ruth Armatage Slee, and has resided here for most of her life. She and her husband, Richard, also resided in Aurora from 1976 until 1996.
She was a graduate of East High School Class of 1940, and attended Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va.
Surviving is her husband, Dr. Richard A. Hamilton of Auburn; one daughter, Ruth A. Herrier and her husband, Michael, of Salinas, Calif.; one grandson, Jason A. Herrier of Salinas, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the Brew Funeral Home, 48 South St., Auburn, with the Rev. David L. Richter officiating. Interment will be in Fort Hill Cemetery, Auburn. Friends are invited to call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
