Johanna Routhouska Obituary

LYNN, Mass. - Johanna M. Routhouska, 90, of 160 Ross St. Ext., formerly of 55 Pine Grove Ave., Lynn, Mass., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at Auburn Memorial Hospital.

Born in Salem, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Magdalena Niyankas Chiras. She was employed as a supervisor and teacher at a shoe school in Lynn, Mass., before working as the GE Riverworks Plant, also located in Lynn, Mass. She moved to Auburn in 1996, and became a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.

She is survived by her son, Joseph J. and his wife Ann Cotter Routhouska of Auburn; a niece, Marilyn Hazel of Danvers, Mass.; a nephew, Dwight Johnson of Worcester, Mass.; and four grandchildren, Thomas, Michael, Brian and Kevin.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph W. Routhouska; and by two sisters, Regina Johnson and Aldona Putis.

Calling hours and funeral services will take place in Lynn, Mass., under the care of Lombara & Son Funeral Home, 893 Western Ave., Lynn, Mass. 01905. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Lynn, Mass.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice. Langham Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
