Leonard Richardson Jr. 71 passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home Friday May 2nd just like he wished.
He was born January 11, 1954 in Auburn NY to Mae and Leonard Richardson Sr. He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his 2 sisters Bobby Richardson, and Christine Cameron (Jay) and 3 brothers Curtis Richardson (Robyn), Eugene Richardson, and Billie Richardson. He leaves behind 1 son James Burnett , 7 daughters Kysha Mack (Willie Jr.), Shalana Richardson, Lenay Richardson, Crystal Marie Ouimette (David), Leanne Richardson, Aysha Richardson, and Nevaeh Richardson, 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held May 18th at the Ukrainian National Club 3-7.

My family grew up next door to the Richardson family when they lived on upper Van Anden St. My brother and Junior were great friends and enjoyed playing wiffle ball as well as basketball together. We were very sorry to hear of Junior’s passing. Our condolences to his children, grandchildren but especially to his siblings who we knew so well. Rest in peace Junior.

Went to school with Lenny and was in many of his classes with him back in the days of West High. He was a quiet, gentile guy and always had a wisecrack or two.
