AUBURN - Marie E. Phillips, 57, of Auburn, NY was granted her angel wings on July 6, 2021. Her final hours were spent surrounded by family and friends that Marie had touched in so many ways. Marie was survived by Ronald Harmon (boyfriend), Roger R. Phillips (former spouse and father of children), John Birtwell (brother) Steven Birtwell (brother), William Birtwell (brother), Karen Birtwell (sister in-law), Marcella Birtwell (daughter), Roger Phillips (RJ) and Amy Phillips (son and daughter in-law), Christopher Phillips (son), Tabitha Palmatier and Bryan Palmatier (daughter and son-in-law), Justin Sedorus and Nicole Sedorus (son and daughter-in-law) Ryan Birtwell (son), Connor Birtwell (son), Dylan Lee (son), Alisha Metcalf (daughter), many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by Mother Karen Birtwell, Father Lucious Birtwell, Brother Kevin Birtwell, daughter-in-law Star Kincaid, and brother in-law Raymond Phillips.
She previously worked as a nurses aide both privately and at Auburn Community Hospital. Marie also was a former manager of a local McDonalds for several years. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.
Calling hours will be held this Saturday afternoon from 2-4 with a service to follow at 4 pm all in the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St.
