WESTVALE -- Mark D. Romano, 47, of Westvale, passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, after a long battle with a heart disease.
A lifelong resident of Syracuse, he graduated from Syracuse University School of Law and was a self employed attorney, practicing all aspects of law. Mr. Romano served his country as a quartermaster and chaplain in the Navy, where he received several meritorious medals for outstanding achievement.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph N. Romano Jr., who passed away Oct. 12, 2004.
Surviving is his loving mother, Rose Caramella Romano; sister, Susan (Mark) LaFaver; godson and nephew TJ Widas; two nieces, Nichole and Mary; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Monday, at Farone & Son Funeral Home, and 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Syracuse. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Calling hours are 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home, 1500 Park, Syracuse.
