My sincere condolences to the family of Mary Rita Carnicelli. Mrs Carnicelli was my Kindergarten teacher at Genesee Elementary school in 1976. She made an indelible imprint on me, one of my most favorite teachers, she was kind and compassionate yet structured, and a staunch cheerleader of us students as we began our way in education, applauding every act of growth we displayed in our classroom. Thank you for nurturing my love of math and music, God bless you Mrs Carnicelli

My deepest condolences to Mary Rita´s family. She was my son Adam´s teacher and so much more. She and Matt came to watch Adam race microds, and when she retired, we painted "Congratulations, Mrs. Carnicelli" on his car as he drove it slowly around the church parking lot across from Herman Ave Elementary. With permission, of course. She was the best of the best.

My Prayers and condolences are with the Carnicelli Family. I first met Mary Rita at Seward Elementary School. We became good friends for life. All of our friends would gather at the De Paul Residence on Lake Avenue. Mrs DePaul would all ways have goodies for us to snack on.When ever We had A party it was at the DePaul Resident. What good times we had Mary Rita was the nicest person you could ever hope to meet and a wonderful Friend. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure os knowing p. Her.

Matt and Mary Rita were a match made in heaven.Auburn was so lucky to have two outstanding educators. When my youngest son was in third grade at Herman Ave elementary school,he would come home on many occasions and tell us about things he learned that day in class. I taught with Matt for many years. His love and enthusiasm for teaching science was beyond compare.

Mary Rita was a much loved colleague of mine. Our son was blessed with having her as his third grade teacher. He loved her as did all of her students. Her love of and pride in her family was always evident. We thank you for sharing your wonderful Mom with us. May your many loving memories bring you some peace as you mourn her loss.
