Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to the family of Mary Rita Carnicelli. Mrs Carnicelli was my Kindergarten teacher at Genesee Elementary school in 1976. She made an indelible imprint on me, one of my most favorite teachers, she was kind and compassionate yet structured, and a staunch cheerleader of us students as we began our way in education, applauding every act of growth we displayed in our classroom. Thank you for nurturing my love of math and music, God bless you Mrs Carnicelli

My deepest condolences to Mary Rita´s family. She was my son Adam´s teacher and so much more. She and Matt came to watch Adam race microds, and when she retired, we painted "Congratulations, Mrs. Carnicelli" on his car as he drove it slowly around the church parking lot across from Herman Ave Elementary. With permission, of course. She was the best of the best.

GREAT LADY!

Matt and Mary Rita were a match made in heaven.Auburn was so lucky to have two outstanding educators. When my youngest son was in third grade at Herman Ave elementary school,he would come home on many occasions and tell us about things he learned that day in class. I taught with Matt for many years. His love and enthusiasm for teaching science was beyond compare.
