Mary Standock Siracusa

AUBURN - Mary Standock Siracusa, 96, of 6 Hobart St., Auburn, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, in Enfield, Conn. A native of Centralia, Pa., she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna M. Standock, and resided in Auburn for most of her life. She had retired from Dunn & Mc Carthy Shoe Co. with more than 30 years of employment, and was a member of St. Mary's Church, Auburn. Surviving are three children, Robert (Judith) Siracusa, of Somers, Conn., Irene O'Neil (Jack), of Port Byron, Judith (Stephen) Caiola, of Chapel Hill, N.C.; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Nolter, of Mt. Carmel, Pa., and Estelle Britt, of New Jersey; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 2003; three brothers, Michael, Stephen and Charles Standock; three sisters, Sophie Standock, Kathryn Hosonitz and Anna Doncosky. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, in St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Frank E. Lioi as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, at Farrell's Funeral Service Inc., 84 South St., Auburn. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church, 15 Clark St., Auburn.
